Eating healthy is very important.  If you do not want to gain or lose weight, then burn as many calories as you eat.  Also, when looking for protein remember to choose fish most of the time. When eating grains, whole grains are healthier than any other type. Milk is good for you but make sure to buy low-fat or fat-free milk instead of regular whole milk.  Finally, Fresh veggies that are in season are better for you.

               

One little roll of a fruit by the foot doesn’t seem so bad.  When you actually look at the calories and sugar, it actually is.  There are 80 calories on ONE little roll.  Eighty calories for a small roll is a lot considering that there are much healthier foods with 80 calories.  Also, there are 17 carbs in one little roll.  That is 6% of your daily value in one little fruit roll-up.  Next time you think about eating one of these, take an apple instead.
